Christmas gifts for teachers

Christmas gifts for the teachers the past December... Sorry, I've been behind on posting ..
I made a little butterfly pendant with Swarovski crystal beads. Also made a flower broach from fabric.

Rainbow loom

Since Rainbow loom is such a "In" thing now so I had to give it a go... but I've only tried out a few things.. I have tried making a few charms as well but both my kids snatched them away before I could take a photo of them... so I guess I can post photos of those later on.

                 

Amigurumi (Crochet Dolls)

After the first amigurumi doll, I started making more and also a few other things I'd like to show everyone here.  Hope you all like them. :D

 

 

 

Dreadlock Girl Amigurumi (Crochet Dolls)

I have recently learned to crochet ... maybe started before the Easter Holidays.  A lady at the office of the school where my kids go to asked me if I could make a doll with dreadlocks like her.  It was a challenge for me because I've never made something with dreadlocks.  Therefore I came home and started to look online for some ideas and many crochet dolls popped up and selling for a lot of $$$ too... So I decided to go on Youtube to see if I could learn.  I watched 3 different videos on crochet doll making and came up with this girl.

Dressing Up Bears for a Bouquet

I was given a few projects by my cousin who got married in September and here are a few to show everyone.  These are bear bouquets for the flower girls and 1 is used for tossing.  These bears were from the Dollarama.  They were originally for Halloween so they were holding a little pumpkin and had patches on them  After removing all that, I made little clothing for them.  I put a phone next to them so you can see that they are pretty small so it was a bit of a challenge to dress them.  I folded little roses for the little bouquets for the bears to hold then stitched them on.I used those sticks for balloons to hold the bears up.  Not sure what they are called but they have them at the Dollarama in the balloon section.  I'll take a picture of them next time to show you since I ran out.  Also those flowers were from the Dollarama as well.  They are foam flowers but they look very pretty. To make these are a bit time consuming but not hard to do

The TY Bears were stitched on the the ring pillow after they had been full dressed. :P

Pom Pom Puppies

I recently bought a book for my daughter on making pompom dogs.  She was so excited to try making them,  we made 2 different dogs and we would like to show them to you. :)
