Valentines Day Treats
On Valentines my daughter and I put together some treats for her classmates and her teacher. We dressed up a lollipop with a cut out heart and leaves then used a flower punch. For the teachers chocolate with some folded roses made from ribbons with wires, it makes a simple chocolate bar all pretty. To make these roses is very simple. Pull the wire all the way out from one side, on the other you don't remove the wire but you do pull the wire until the ribbon bunches up. Make sure the wire DOESN'T come out. You then roll the ribbon to the end and that's how you form your rose. For the leaves I used felt and used green glitter fabric paint and glued it on wire then used green floral tape to put the rose and the leaves all together.
Giraffe and Dinosaur Stuffed Toy
I found these online and wanted to try them since my son loves dinosaurs and giraffes
The dinosaur I did a little alteration to it compared to the one online. I added a piece of fabric on the bottom so that it's 3 dimensional rather than flat
Here's the link for the dinosaur:

For the giraffe the only thing different is that I added manes to mine.

Sock Toys
Sorry, for taking so long to post. I've been making a few things so haven't had the time to post anything but I will spend some time today to show a few of the things I've made... starting with these sock monkeys and sock bunnies. I found a link online that showed how to make them so I had to try them out and indeed very easy and not too time consuming.
Here is a link for the pattern for the sock monkey
