Ballerina Chippie
My daughter started taking ballerina lessons and she's very excited about it all the time. She asked me to make her some ballerina clippies. I found a link on how to make these here.

Felt Owl
For my daughters last day of school I made a little gift for her teacher... since all the kids in her class had gifts why not the teacher. I found a picture of this owl online and thought it was so cute so I did my version of it in plush. I made a fabric ball and then cut each feather out from felt and stitched it on. I made the graduation hat from a cardboard and covered it with felt. I the apple was made from satin cloth and the chalk board was felt with hand stitched words. Each item has a magnet on the bottom and so does the board so it can be taken apart and be placed back to the exact spot. The site where I found this owl is ...

Finger Puppets
I haven't posted in a while so thought I'd better catch up and show some of the things I've been working on lately. So first of all I'll start with the Finger puppets. I made a bunch of these for my daughters last day of school back in June and for her loot bags in July (I guess you know how long I haven't been posting. :P) I made these only for the boys because I had other things in mind for the girls. I got the idea from surfing around different sites and really liked the ones from this site http://www.theidearoom.net/2010/04/felt-finger-puppets-and-tutorial.html I changed mine a bit... hope you will have fun making these.
