Organza Flower

For this project I decided to make some flowers out of the organza material that I found at the dollar store, I bought some not knowing what I will use them for but it turns out that it's great for making flowers. They come in rolls of different colours like the size of tulle's. In the near future I will post pictures of the various things that I've made with this material. For now we will start with the stacking organza flower.

Lets get started.

Double Strand Sliver Bead Bracelet

Michaels had a sale on 925 sterling silver findings and beads 2 weeks ago "buy 1 get the second for 1 cent" so of course I took an advantage of this great sale. Here's a picture of one of the bracelet I made with the silver beads stung with a silver chain. If you are interesting in making a silver bracelet or necklace for yourself, then look for the sales at Michaels, I've noticed these silver beads go on sale often... sometimes 2 for $8.. this week it's 40% off. I usually buy them when on sale otherwise it's $5.99 per pack.

Butterfly Kanzashi

After being so busy during Christmas and New Years it's time to get back to some crafts again.
I have taken step by step instructions of the butterfly Kanzashi that I had been working on for my daughter. The methods I've used might be different from how others make them. I used more of a fusing technique rather than gluing as you can see in the pictures.

Let's Get Started...

I've combined the butterfly with the previous fabric flower I made and this is how the clip turned out. It matched her Chinese New Year outfit perfectly. :)
